Beautiful campus, make sure to arrive before 11 am if you'd like to see the butterfly building and insect museum! Lots of little coffee shops that are good, and we saw a sloth in the wild! Yay!

University of Costa Rica and the surrounding is a great place to catch the local vibe. Probably one of the more safer areas of San Jose. Many moons ago, I studied abroad in Costa Rica, and it remains one of my favorite memories! This is hands-down one of the best universities in Central America. The campus location is perfect—there are tons of great restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to get downtown if you're up for a quick bus ride.
